Susan E. Jacobson

Susan E. Jacobson, RN, CCRN is a clinical nurse educator and registered nurse in the critical care unit at Kittitas Valley Healthcare since July 2020. With extensive experience in nursing leadership and advocacy, Susan holds numerous positions within the Washington State Nurses Association, including roles as Director-at-Large for the Economic & General Welfare Cabinet, President, and Trustee of the Washington State Nurses Foundation Board. Previously, Susan served as a critical care charge nurse at Astria Regional Medical Center, where leadership included a team of 20 staff in a Level III Critical Care Unit. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and an Associate Degree in Nursing from South Puget Sound Community College. Additionally, Susan has contributed to various organizations such as the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the American Federation of Teachers.
