Michelle M. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michelle started their career as a Corporate Engineering Co-Op at The J.M. Smucker Company, where they supervised safety installations and drove continuous improvement through data analysis. Michelle then worked as an Engineering & Technical Sales representative at SALEM-REPUBLIC RUBBER COMPANY. Michelle returned to The J.M. Smucker Company as an R&D Process Engineer in both Pet R&D and Consumer Foods R&D, where they led process development and scale-up of new products, conducted pilot plant and full-scale plant trials, and managed safety efforts. Michelle then worked as an R&D Process Engineer at Church Brothers Farms, focusing on establishing process specifications and novel processing technology development. Most recently, they worked at Kendo Brands, Inc. as a Quality Process Engineer, ensuring the on-time launch and high quality of skincare products. Currently, Michelle holds the position of Technical Operations Manager at Kiva Brands, Inc., where they oversee commercialization, troubleshooting, and scale for leading edibles brands in the US.

Michelle M. attended Wadsworth High School with an end year of 2007. Michelle then went on to The University of Akron, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. Michelle'seducation at The University of Akron lasted from 2007 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Michelle M. has obtained several certifications. Michelle became a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) in December 2020 through ASQ - World Headquarters. In June 2019, they obtained ISO 22716 certification from SGS. Furthermore, in October 2014, Michelle M. completed a course titled "Molecular Gastronomy: The Science of Flavor" offered by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
