Alex Bond

Alex Bond is an R&D Engineer at KIVO Flexible Plastics since September 2021, specializing in blown film extrusion with polyethylene and focusing on the design, testing, and optimization of manufacturing processes for high-quality PE films. Prior to this role, Alex served as a Research & Development Scientist at Albemarle Corporation, where research centered on developing optimal catalysts for converting carbon dioxide into useful raw materials. Earlier experience includes a position as a Junior Research Assistant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam's Farmaceutical Laboratory. Alex holds a Master of Science in Chemistry with a focus on Science for Energy and Sustainability from the University of Amsterdam (2018-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the same institution (2014-2018), following education at Don Bosco College (2008-2014).
