Thomas Hutchinson

Thomas Hutchinson has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Thomas currently works at Kivra as a Software Engineer. Prior to their current role, they were a Team Lead at Derivco, where they led a team of 5 developers in an Agile and DevOps environment. Thomas also worked as a Software Engineer at Nordnet Bank AB, where they developed REST APIs and TCP prices feeds in Erlang and Java. Before that, they were a Software Development Consultant at Erlang Solutions Ltd., providing coaching and mentoring to clients transitioning to Elixir. In 2008, they studied Computer Networks at South Cheshire College and achieved a Level 2 qualification. Also in 2009, they enrolled in Staffordshire University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2013. Additionally, in 2019 and 2021, Thomas obtained certifications from Microsoft, namely the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" and "Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate" respectively.
