Shazat Shawan

Shazat supports clients with strategic communications, in-depth research, earned media efforts, legislative support, social media management, and digital campaign work. His works with clients across sectors including nonprofits, renewable energy companies, law firms, and advocacy groups.

He has worked on several notable Kivvit projects, including an effort to pass the Clean Water, Clean Air, and Green Jobs Environmental Bond Act of 2022, which was overwhelmingly passed by New York voters in the 2022 general election.

Prior to joining Kivvit, Shazat gained policy, public relations, and campaign experience through his work at the offices of Assemblymember Harvey Epstein and Councilmember Christopher Marte.
