Peter Malina

Peter Malina is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Kiwi.com, Peter oversees a 50-person platform domain, driving initiatives in infrastructure, data management, security, and web development. Key achievements include implementing a "Platform as a Product" approach, establishing budget metrics, and executing a comprehensive AI strategy involving leading tools. Previously, Peter held roles as Head of Infrastructure and Staff Engineer at Kiwi.com, where responsibilities included managing cloud adoption and improving engineering productivity. As a co-founder and CTO of FlowUp, Peter was instrumental in adopting industry-leading technologies. Early career experience includes fullstack development at Brno University of Technology and back-end development at InspireOn Group. Peter holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology.
