Michal Janik

Michal Janik is a backend developer at KIWI. Michal has previously worked as a web developer at Kulturserver.de from March 2012 to September 2017, where they were responsible for front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and single-page application development with Backbone.js. Michal also has experience in hybrid mobile application development with Sencha Touch and PhoneGap/Apache Cordova. In addition, Michal has worked as a freelance web developer from June 2011 to March 2012, where they were responsible for web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and Python. Michal has also worked as a system administrator / DevOps at Arup from October 2010 to June 2011, where they were responsible for intranet development with HTML, CSS and Sharepoint, maintenance and administration of Windows-based systems and maintenance and scripting of GIS and AutoCAD with Python.

Michal Janik earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from The Open University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Culture Management from Jagiellonian University. Michal also has a certification from edX in 6.00x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming.
