Jason Shi

Jason Shi is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Kiwibank since August 2022, where orchestration of multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Terraform Cloud has been a key focus. Prior to this role, Jason served as a DevOps Engineer at Snapper Services Limited from February 2020 to August 2022, managing multi-service AWS accounts and implementing backup strategies. Jason's experience also includes roles as an Intern DevOps Engineer and Power Plant Engineer at Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. from November 2014 to December 2018, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Babcock & Wilcox from August 2006 to October 2014, specializing in mechanical design of steam generators. Jason holds a Master’s degree in Software Development from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor's degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering from Northeastern University (CN).
