Troy Sutherland

Troy Sutherland is an experienced banking professional serving as the General Manager of Commercial Banking at Kiwibank since February 2021. Prior to this role, Troy held various positions at ANZ from June 2010 to November 2020, including General Manager for the Southern Region and Head of Corporate Agri, overseeing relationship teams for Corporate, Commercial, and Agriculture sectors. Troy also has a background in institutional and multinational banking from the Bank of New Zealand, where the title held was Client Director from April 2006 to April 2010. The earlier career included a substantial tenure in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a Navigator, Instructor, and Officer from June 1995 to April 2006. Troy holds a Bachelor of Business Studies with majors in Finance and Communication Management from Massey University, completed between 1999 and 2005, and attended Scots College in Wellington for high school education.
