Alejandro Serna

Alejandro Serna has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Alejandro started their career at ISAGEN SA as a Practicante in the maintenance team for operational reliability. Alejandro then joined ICIPC as a Technical Division Assistant, where they assisted with various projects related to plastic products and processes, including conducting life cycle assessments, developing neural network applications, and coordinating packaging activities. Alejandro later became an Investigador Consultor Asociado at ICIPC, where they led projects focused on utilizing polymer waste for high-value products, analyzed eco-design of plastic products for various industries, and developed algorithms for machine learning analysis. Currently, Alejandro is working as an AI&Robotics PM at Kiwibot.

Alejandro Serna completed a Diplomatura in Machine Learning in Python at Universidad EAFIT in 2020. In 2018, they obtained an Especialización in Integrated Design of Technical Systems from the same university. From 2011 to 2015, they pursued a Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidad EAFIT. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Colegio Benedictino De Santa María from 2001 to 2010, obtaining a Bachillerato degree. In addition to their formal education, Alejandro obtained certifications in Introduction to Generative AI with Google Cloud from Udacity in May 2023 and the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera in April 2023.
