Anne Marie Taggart

Anne Marie Taggart is an experienced professional in public administration and human resources, currently serving as General Manager of People Sustainability and Place and Chief People Officer at the Ministry of Education of New Zealand since January 2023. Taggart also holds board positions at KiwiClass - Multicultural Support Services and Blind Low Vision NZ since May 2022, and has provided executive coaching at Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission from July 2022 to January 2023. Previous roles include Group Manager Business Improvement and Support at the Ministry of Education, Human Resources Consultant at Scotfern Consulting, and various leadership positions at New Zealand Customs Service and New Zealand Transport Agency. Taggart holds an Executive Masters of Public Administration from ANZSOG and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Edith Cowan University.
