Vanessa Johnson

Vanessa Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and risk management. Currently serving as Chair and Board Member at KiwiClass - Multicultural Support Services since November 2021, Vanessa also holds the position of Chair of The Board of Trustees at THE DAY CHARITABLE TRUST since January 2016. With a long tenure at Inland Revenue NZ since December 2012, Vanessa occupies the role of Service Leader Integrity and Internal Assurance and previously served as Group Manager, Corporate Risk and Assurance. Notably, Vanessa was the Executive Director for the Pike River Royal Commission from May 2011 to December 2012 and has a comprehensive background at Inland Revenue from January 2006 to May 2011. Vanessa Johnson holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from the University of Canterbury and is an alumna of Christchurch Girls' High School.
