Emma Zang-Schwartz, MPH

Emma Zang-Schwartz, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning a range of industries and roles. Emma is currently working as an Account Manager at KiwiCo, Inc. since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Supervisor at Cadent Medical Communications from 2021 to 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Emma worked at SciMentum where they held various roles including Account Manager, Senior Account Executive - client services, and Account Executive. In these positions, they managed client accounts worth millions of dollars, handled finances, managed teams, and guided clients in strategic decision-making. Emma also worked closely with pharmaceutical companies to produce educational materials for medical professionals.

Before SciMentum, Emma worked as a Program Associate at the Collaborative on Health and the Environment from 2017 to 2018, where they created content and managed social media for a website focused on sharing environmental health information.

Emma also gained experience as an Intern at Sesame Workshop in 2016, where they developed educational materials and messaging related to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) curriculum for Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Intern at charity: water, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

Emma has also worked as a Freelance Writer for AZ Lifestyle Magazine from 2010 to 2016, and as a Social Media and Web Development Intern at Harvey Mudd College's Dean of Students office from 2014 to 2015. Emma also had an internship at Esperanca in 2014.

Emma Zang-Schwartz, MPH has a diverse education history. Emma obtained their Master's Degree in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Global Health at Harvey Mudd College, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they pursued a User Experience Design Research Program Certificate from General Assembly in 2020.

In terms of certifications, Emma has completed several. Emma obtained the Certified in Public Health (CPH) certification from the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) in May 2017.
