Ben Shamsian

Ben Shamsian has had a long and successful career in software engineering. Ben has worked for a number of companies, beginning with Pfizer in 2001 as a Software Architect Consultant. In 2004, they became a Lead Developer at Yahoo, and then moved to Dex One/Business.com in 2005 as a Senior Director of Advertiser Systems Engineering. In 2011, they joined Boingo Wireless as Vice President of Engineering, and in 2020 they became the Vice President of Engineering at Kixie. Throughout their career, they have managed budgets of up to $10M and teams of over 30 people, as well as provided technical direction and guidance, and hands-on development for all projects.

Ben Shamsian completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and attended Santa Monica College.
