Masahiko Homma

Masahiko Homma is a seasoned venture capitalist with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Partner at SMBC Asia Rising Fund since May 2023, Masahiko focuses on mid-growth stage investments in fintech startups across India and Southeast Asia. As a co-founder and General Partner at Incubate Fund since May 2010, Masahiko has played a pivotal role in establishing the largest seed and early-stage tech VC fund in Japan. Additional roles include co-founding and partnering in various international ventures such as Incubate Fund Brazil, Incubate Fund US, KK Fund, and Incubate Fund India. Previously, Masahiko founded Corepeople Partners and co-founded Pokelabo, which was successfully merged with GREE. Early career highlights include positions at Works Capital Inc. and Accenture, complemented by an educational background from Keio University.
