Alvin Chang

Alvin Chang has worked as a Clinical Director, Quality, Safety and Risk Management at KK Women's & Children's Hospital since August 2018. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Consultant in the Neonatal Department at the same hospital starting from January 2010. Alvin also has experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore, School of Medicine since 2012, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School since 2011.

Alvin Chang's education history includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Maniple Academy of Higher Education, obtained from 1991 to 1997. alvin also received a Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management and Leadership from Singapore Management University, completed in the academic year 2021-2022. Alvin has undertaken further specialization in their field, acquiring the following certifications: CPRM- Certified Professional Risk Manager from Asia Risk Management Institute in 2015-2016, FRCP(Edin) from the Royal of College of Physicians in Edinburgh starting in 2012, and FRCPCH from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health starting in 2001. alvin is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS), which they earned from the Academy of Medicine of Singapore in 2015.
