Derek Brown is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment banking. Currently serving as a Principal at KKR since May 2019, Derek has previously held the position of Private Equity Associate. Prior to KKR, Derek gained valuable expertise as an Investment Banking Analyst at Intrepid Financial Partners from April 2018 to April 2019 and at Credit Suisse from June 2016 to April 2018. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Yale University, where studies were completed from 2013 to 2017. Additional educational experience includes attendance at the University of International Business and Economics in 2014 and graduation from Episcopal High School in 2013.
