Karen Hollinger

Karen Hollinger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the real estate and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at KKR & Co. Inc. since August 2022, Karen is also a member of the Innovation & Technology Committee at the Urban Land Institute. Previously, significant roles at AvalonBay Communities included Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and various vice president positions covering corporate and national operations. Karen has contributed to the industry through leadership roles at CREtech and the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), where responsibilities included chairing committees focused on innovation and technology in the multifamily sector. Earlier experience includes a Director role at Cedar Consulting and a Senior Manager position at KPMG. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from William & Mary.
