Lei Tie

Lei Tie is a highly experienced finance professional with a robust background in asset-based finance, specializing in consumer and specialty finance as well as residential credit. Currently serving as Managing Director at KKR since September 2025, Lei previously held the position of Managing Director at Treville Capital Group, focusing on asset-based private credit and public ABS investments while also being a member of the Investment Committee. Lei co-founded First Plus Asset Management and led structured credit initiatives from September 2020 to May 2023, and has held key roles at renowned institutions such as LibreMax Capital, Barclays Investment Bank, KBW, Lehman Brothers, and J.P. Morgan. Lei Tie earned both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University between 2001 and 2005.
