Igor Germanenko is a highly experienced professional in the field of optics and optical sciences, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Institute of Molecular and Atomic Physics. Since April 2004, Igor has been with KLA, progressing through various roles such as Principal Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, and Senior System Design Engineer, where responsibilities included leading multifunctional teams in the design and development of illumination subsystems and DUV light sources for wafer inspection products, along with project management and prototype testing. Prior to KLA, Igor served as a Staff Physicist at Honeywell Process Solutions from July 2000 to March 2004 and worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University from December 1996 to June 2000.
