Vivek Kumar

Vivek Kumar, Ph.D., is a research scientist specializing in machine learning at KLA since November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a structural and analytics engineer at PARC, a Xerox Company, where Vivek contributed to the development of structural health monitoring metrics, leveraging fiber-optic sensors and machine learning. At Princeton University, Vivek held roles as a graduate teaching assistant and research assistant, focusing on machine learning models for material properties prediction and crack detection. With an educational background that includes a Ph.D. and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from Princeton University, as well as a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Vivek combines advanced technical expertise with a solid foundation in civil engineering.
