Xiuyuan Shao

Xiuyuan Shao is a Senior Manufacturing Design Engineer specializing in Electron Optics at KLA, with experience in the N+1 product's Electron Gun and Column Subsystem. Prior to this role, Xiuyuan served as a Senior Process Integration Engineer at Micron Technology, focusing on advanced 3D NAND technology development. Xiuyuan's academic career includes a position as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the National University of Singapore, leading the NRF Central Gap Fund project on a graphene-coated cold field emission source for multi-column electron microscopy. Additionally, Xiuyuan worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same institution, teaching computer architecture laboratory experiments. Xiuyuan holds a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering and a Master's in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, both from the National University of Singapore.
