Yalin Xiong

Yalin Xiong is an experienced professional with a robust background in engineering and management, notably serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager at KLA-Tencor from January 2000 to February 2017. At KLA-Tencor, Yalin led the BBP Wafer Inspection Division and the Reticle Products Division, overseeing product vision, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and service. Yalin managed a large organization of over 150 engineers and was instrumental in the development of advanced optical inspection tools. Prior to KLA-Tencor, Yalin held key positions at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Caltech/NASA, focusing on space robotics, and at Apple Computer, where work involved advanced multimedia technologies. Yalin holds a Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
