Jon Agust Thorsteinsson

Jon Agust Thorsteinsson has a long history of work experience. Jon Agust began their career in 1985 as a Research, Applications and Sales Manager at Sabroe Refrigeration. In 1993, they co-founded Kælismiðjan Frost, where they served as the CTO. Jon Agust then moved to York International in 1998, where they served as an Application Development Manager. In 1999, they co-founded Klappir, an investment office that invested in clean tech companies and supported green initiatives. In 2002, they founded Marorka, and served as Chairman. In 2004, they joined Reykjavik University as a Director on the Board. In 2010, they became a Director on the Board of Clean Tech Iceland. In 2013, they co-founded ARK Technology, where they served as Chairman and Co-Founder. In 2014, they joined HAFIÐ (Oceana) as Chairman. Finally, in 2016, they became the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Klappir Green Solutions, a digital software company for sustainable development.

Jon Agust Thorsteinsson completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Process Integration from Aalborg University between 2001 and 2004.
