Senior Communication Designer at Klar

Martha Gomez has a long and varied work experience. Martha began their career in 2002 as a Researcher and Graphic Designer for the Biblioteca Nacional de España, where they conducted an investigation in Modern Typography and designed the signage for the music hall. In 2007, they became an Art Director at Bassat Ogilvy, where they developed and implemented brand manuals and designed annual reports. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Digital Technologies Teacher at IED | Istituto Europeo di Design. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Illustrator and Graphic Designer for MOX, developing infographics, illustrations and delivering brand through different channels for various clients. In 2020, they joined TypeThursday as a Chapter Lead, where they have kept running a monthly get-together for letter lovers in Berlin and formed a creative community with over 2,000 people. Currently, they are a Senior Communication Designer at Klar.

Martha Gomez has a diverse educational background. In 2022, they are expected to complete a Transformational Leadership program from Hyper Island. From 2003 to 2004, they earned a Master in Digital Technologies & New Media Design from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. From 1996 to 2000, they completed a Licentiate degree in Graphic Design from Universidad del Valle de México. In 2002, they attended a Summer Campus in Graphic Design from Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo. Additionally, they have taken courses in Photography from Escuela Superior de Fotografía Kodak, México since 2000.
