Carl Bonnett is the founder and medical director of Klarisana. Carl is a highly experienced emergency physician, having worked in a variety of settings over the course of their career. Carl began their career as an emergency physician at Porter Hospital in 2008, before moving to Denver Health in 2006. From there, they went on to work for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in 2017. Carl has also served as a flight surgeon for the Colorado Army National Guard from 1995 to 2015.

Carl Bonnett's educational career began with high school at New Trier High School. Carl then went on to study journalism at the University of Iowa for their bachelor's degree. After that, they attended medical school at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine and received their M.D. Finally, they completed a residency in emergency medicine at Denver Health Medical Center. Carl is certified from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in American Board of Emergency Medicine.
