Shannon Maxey

Shannon Maxey has been in the banking industry for over 25 years. Shannon began their career at Valley Bank in 1995, where they held various roles including Operations Officer, Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, Operations Accounting Assistant, Loan Operations & Collateral Control Clerk, and Operations Assistant/Proof Operator. Shannon then moved to BNC Bank in 2015, where they were VP, Loss Mitigation & Control Manager. In 2016, they joined Virginia Community Capital - VCC, where they were VP, Deposit Operations Manager and VP, Operations Support & Project Coordinator. Most recently, they are a Risk Management Analyst at KlariVis, starting in 2021.

Shannon Maxey is currently attending the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management. Shannon previously attended Salem High School.
