David Bombaça has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and management. David started their career in 2006 as a Software Analyst/Developer at Ambisig - BPM Solutions, where they developed BPM software solutions and custom business solutions. David also took on project management tasks and worked with Microsoft Technologies and Oracle.

In 2012, David co-founded ArtWall, where they developed a cross-platform mobile app prototype, Backoffice, and API. David also participated in startup accelerator programs.

From 2012 to 2014, they worked at HIS - Healthcare Solutions as a Senior Software Developer and later as a Development Team Lead.

In 2015, David joined hmR - Health Market Research as a Software Architect/Developer, where they developed a mapping reference data sub-process management solution.

Starting in 2016, David worked at World's Marathons as a Software Developer and later as a Tech Lead. David contributed to the development of a marketplace and registration system for endurance races.

From 2014 to 2017, David worked as a Fullstack Developer at Nmbrs BV, where they implemented startup projects and was responsible for NmbrsHR. David worked with Azure, C#, AngularJs, Grunt/Bower, Jasmine/Karma, and WebApi 2.

David recently joined Klarna in 2020. David started as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they hold the role of Associate Engineering Manager.

David Bombaça's education history includes two significant periods. From 2004 to 2006, they attended EPED and completed their 12th-degree in Technical Management and Programming Information Systems. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they enrolled at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, but unfortunately, they did not finish their degree in Computer Science and Management.

In addition to their formal education, David has also obtained certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In April 2010, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional with the MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications certification. David continued their professional development and earned the MCPS certification from Microsoft in April 2012. Furthermore, in September 2014, David completed the Web Application Architectures course from Coursera. Most recently, in May 2020, they obtained two certifications from Pluralsight: Building Web Applications with Node.js and Express 4.0, as well as RESTful Web Services with Node.js and Express.
