Jovan V.

Jovan V. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jovan began their career as a freelancer, working as a software developer from 2004 to 2006. Jovan then joined Navigator doo as a software developer and later took on roles as a Technical Team Lead and Engineering Manager from 2006 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Jovan served as the CTO at Codenious, where they were responsible for overseeing technology operations. Following that, they served as the Head of Technology at Ivy Exec from 2012 to 2013, where they defined and executed the company's technology vision and implemented agile software development and DevOps practices.

In 2013, Jovan joined codecentric Serbia, initially as a Senior IT Consultant and later as the Head of Technology. In this role, they managed delivery teams, implemented recruitment and performance management processes, and mentored engineers and leads on various technical practices.

From 2017 to 2018, Jovan worked at home24 SE as a Lead Agile Coach, guiding teams in adopting agile methodologies. Jovan then moved to Zalando SE from 2018 to 2020, where they served as an Engineering Manager, specifically overseeing the Checkout team.

Jovan joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020 as a Senior Solutions Architect, providing technical expertise to clients. Currently, they are employed at Klarna as a Senior Engineering Manager, with a focus on Incident and Problem Management. Jovan also serves as an Accountable Group Lead for the Cloud Group, responsible for engineering and product roadmap related to cloud governance and security.

Throughout their career, Jovan has demonstrated leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to implementing best practices in software development and project management.

Jovan V. began their education in 2001 and completed it in 2009 at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, where they earned a Diploma in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Jovan obtained the following: Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021, Amazon Web Services Database Specialty from Amazon in December 2020, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020, Certified Scrum Professional from the Scrum Alliance in March 2015, Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in November 2014, Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in June 2009, PMP - Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in July 2013, and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner from the Project Management Institute in January 2015.
