Aurene Wilford

Aurene Wilford is an experienced research professional currently serving as the Insights Director for K2 Payer-Provider Collaborative and Lead Analyst for K2 Collaborative at KLAS Research since September 2021. Prior to this role, Aurene was a Research Analyst at the Utah Criminal Justice Center, University of Utah, from January 2019 to September 2021. Aurene has also worked as a Research Psychologist at the Centre for Rural Health, managing significant projects such as the KwaZulu-Natal Initiative for New-born Care and the KwaZulu-Natal Initiative for Breastfeeding and Support. In earlier roles, Aurene served as an independent rater for clinical trials focused on Alzheimer's and dementia, researched under Professor Arvin Bhana at the Human Sciences Research Council, and taught English and Environmental Science in various high schools in Durban. Aurene holds a Master of Arts in Research Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours, both from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
