Syed Asif Bin Ascar is a highly experienced Senior Speech Analytics Engineer at KLASS since November 2017, specializing in the research and development of speech recognition, speaker recognition, and speaker diarization systems. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, benchmarking algorithms, implementing Scrum practices, and designing robust speech training systems with GPU acceleration. Prior to this, Syed worked as a Data Scientist at SIFT Analytics Group where data preprocessing and visualization were handled using Python, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Trinity Mobility, focusing on the design and coding of web-based Geographical Information Systems. Syed holds a Master of Technology in Knowledge Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Anna University Chennai.
