Jared Tessis (CPA, CA, HBA)

Jared Tessis is a CPA, CA, and HBA with experience in various roles and companies.

Jared started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as an Associate, Senior Associate, and Manager in the CWEP (Clients With Extraordinary Potential) division from 2000 to 2006.

Following that, they joined Soberman LLP as a Senior Associate in the Corporate Recovery and Insolvency Department from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they assisted in the administration of bankruptcies, corporate proposals, receivership assignments, and financial advisory services. Jared also acted as a controller for a manufacturing client in a shareholder dispute situation.

In 2010, Jared became the Director of Business Development at Financial Resource Partners, where they worked until 2012.

From 2012 to 2013, Jared worked as an Executive Recruiter at JTR - Accounting & Finance Recruitment Solutions, focusing on Accounting and Finance roles.

Since 2013, Jared has been with Klass Capital, initially as the Director of Talent from 2013 to 2016 and then promoted to the Head of Talent from 2017 onwards. Klass Capital is a venture capital firm based in Toronto that focuses on providing capital to high-growth enterprise software companies.

Jared Tessis completed their education in a chronological order, starting from their most recent achievements. In 2003, they obtained their CPA, CA degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they attended the Ivey Business School at Western University, where they earned a degree in HBA with a focus on Business. Before their time at Ivey, from 1996 to 1998, Jared studied at Huron University specializing in ACS.
