Christian Hain

Christian Hain has extensive experience in the field of literature and history, particularly at the Klassik Stiftung Weimar since January 2011, where responsibilities include serving as the Director of the Goethe- und Schiller-Archiv and leading various projects related to digital editions and correspondence. Prior roles at the archive encompassed positions from departmental head to scientific staff, focusing on critical editions of Goethe's letters. Earlier professional experience includes a research assistant role at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität within a special research area dedicated to Weimar-Jena cultural studies. Christian Hain holds a Ph.D. in History and a first state examination in teaching History and German, both from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
