Linda Baynes

Linda Baynes has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Linda started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Akron School of Law in 2006 and held roles such as Legal Intern and New Business Legal Clinic Student Assistant during their time there.

In 2009, Linda joined DeNovo Legal, LLC as a Contract Attorney at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe, before moving on to work at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP directly. At Orrick, Linda held several positions including Team Lead, Attorney Team Lead, Managing Attorney Team Lead, and Associate Operations Director of Document Review Services. Their responsibilities included managing document review teams, overseeing eDiscovery projects, and developing processes to enhance accuracy and consistency across firm projects.

In 2014, Linda joined Kroll Ontrack as a Discovery Consultant, and in 2017, they joined KLDiscovery where they held roles such as Senior Discovery Consultant, Senior Business Development Specialist, and Senior Information Security Compliance Analyst. Their most recent position at KLDiscovery was Director of IT Governance, Risk, and Governance, where they were responsible for overseeing IT governance and risk management.

Before starting their legal career, Linda served as the Chief Financial Officer at Minority Aviation Education Association, Inc. from 1993 to 2005. In this role, they performed accounting and budgeting duties and prepared financial reports for board members and donors.
