Mike Morris

Mike Morris, CISSP, CISA has over 7 years of work experience in information security. Mike began their career in 2014 at KLDiscovery as the company's first information security hire. During their time there, they built and implemented a certified Information Security Management System (ISMS) within 6 months and adapted it across multiple acquisitions. In their most recent role as Director of Information Security, they led the development and management of the company's security program, ensuring the protection of data for clients involved in legal proceedings. Additionally, as the Director of IT Governance, Risk, & Compliance, Mike created an enterprise-wide Risk Management Program and streamlined various management processes by implementing a cloud GRC platform. Prior to joining KLDiscovery, Mike worked as a Sr. IT Security Compliance Auditor - Team Lead, where they developed the company's Third-Party Security Program and oversaw the organization's information security compliance program. In 2021, Mike briefly served as a Council Member for the Borough Of Akron Inc. Mike Morris is an experienced and accomplished professional in the field of information security.

Mike Morris, CISSP, CISA, completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Digital Forensics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania between 2010 and 2013. Mike also holds several additional certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², obtained in May 2022, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, obtained in December 2020, and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Implementer (TPECS) from BSI, obtained in 2015.
