Joe Tighe

Joe Tighe has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Joe is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Kleanbus Limited, where they focus on enabling bus fleet operators to transition from diesel buses to fully electric ones. Previously, Joe was a Co-Founder of SoluBlue, a company that operated from 2019 to 2020. Joe also served as the Strategic Director at BenevolentAI from 2016 to 2019. Joe's earlier roles include being the CEO of TSAF/Finacor Paris from 2013 to 2014 and the Managing Director of Tradition UK from 2004 to 2014. Joe founded, chaired, and served as CEO of TradingSports from 2000 to 2003. Furthermore, Joe was the Founder and Chairman of IndexTrade, where they launched the first automated financial spread betting system on the web. Joe also worked as the Director of Options, Gov Bonds, and Interest Rate Options at Garban Resources from 1994 to 1999 and as a Commodities Trader at Elders Resources Ltd from 1988 to 1993.

Joe Tighe attended the University of Rhode Island - College of Business from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Prior to that, they attended Worcester Academy from 1983 to 1984. Joe also attended Iona Prep from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a certification in North Ave Regression Analysis, focusing on the Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education. In addition to their academic background, Joe Tighe obtained a CPR/BLS and AED for Adults Level 2 (VTQ) certification from ProTrainings Europe Ltd in March 2023.
