Tony Gomez III

Tony "Tres" Gomez III has extensive experience in the banking industry. Tony "Tres" began their career at Frost Bank in 2002, where they worked as a Vice President specializing in commercial lending, analysis, and portfolio management. Tony "Tres" successfully completed Frost Bank's credit analyst training program during this time.

In 2007, Tres transitioned to Prosperity Bank as a Vice President. Tony "Tres" was responsible for growing and managing a previously underperforming $50MM banking center, turning it into a profitable entity. Their role also involved loan workout and business development.

Tres joined Navy Army Community Credit Union in 2009 as a Senior Vice President of Member Business Services. During their tenure, they developed a business lending platform and oversaw the growth and maintenance of a diversified commercial lending portfolio, which increased from approximately $6MM to over $135MM. Tony "Tres" also created opportunities for product enhancement within the business banking area and implemented a depository division.

Since 2015, Tres has been working at Kleberg Bank in various leadership positions. Currently, they serve as the Director of Business Development, where they lead a team of commercial lenders in Kingsville and Corpus Christi. Their duties include underwriting large credits, managing a $75MM commercial lending portfolio, and setting the direction for the commercial team.
