D. Joseph Ferris

Joseph is a creditors’ rights attorney and commercial litigator who represents traditional and non-traditional lenders in litigation and related matters, including commercial litigation, commercial bankruptcies, commercial foreclosures and workouts. He has extensive experience litigating lender liability and related claims brought by defaulting borrowers. He assists and advises lenders on a broad array of legal issues, including loan recoveries, workouts and restructures. His experience includes all aspects of litigation, settlement negotiations, loan acquisitions and complex judgment enforcement. He also has extensive knowledge of corporate matters such as corporate governance and deal documents.

Prior to joining the firm, Joseph worked as a senior associate in the Philadelphia office of a large law firm.
