Melissa Hughes

Melissa is a senior paralegal in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group. She has over twenty years of experience in handling bankruptcy cases and assisting attorneys with Chapter 11 debtor matters. Melissa assists attorneys by assembling, reviewing and analyzing documents, acting as a liaison between judges’ chambers, court personnel, outside counsel and other parties, performing pacer searches and reviewing court documents and bankruptcy filings. Melissa also drafts notices, orders, fee applications, affidavits, proofs of claim, petitions, agendas, eFiles court documents, and organizes service and delivery of signature copies to chambers. Prior to joining the team at Klehr Harrison, Melissa worked as a Paralegal for the Department of Natural Resources. She received her B.S. in Legal Studies (ABA Approved) from Wesley College.
