Michael V. Phillips is a partner at Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg, where they have worked since September 2006. Prior to that, they were a partner at Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP from August 2005 to September 2006, and a summer legal intern at The Sports Corporation from January 2000 to December 2003. Michael's primary areas of practice include real estate, business litigation, zoning and land use, commercial finance and loan workouts, condominium law, business formations, contract law, leasing and sports law. Michael regularly serves as outside general counsel to a wide range of companies and individuals, including real estate developers, commercial lenders, small business owners and professional athletes and agents. As part of their sports law practice, they represent professional athletes in general real estate and business matters and handle grievance arbitrations before the National Hockey League Players' Association. Michael is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has also been admitted to try cases in the Supreme Court of New York and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
