Lisa Bennett M.Ed. is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in special education and behavior management. Currently serving as a Special Education Science High School Teacher at Klein ISD since October 2021, Lisa previously held positions including Special Education Teacher at Austin Independent School District and Behavior Teacher at Taylor ISD. Lisa's career includes significant contributions at Texas City ISD as a special education case manager, where responsibilities involved supporting students with special needs and preparing essential educational paperwork. Additional experience includes a Team Lead role at Spring ISD, where Lisa taught various subjects to elementary students and collaborated with stakeholders, as well as serving as an academic advisor at Lone Star College, assisting students in their transition to higher education. Earlier in a distinguished career, Lisa was a Senior District Parole Officer with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, focusing on collaboration with law enforcement. Lisa holds a degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Southern Mississippi.
