Mayra Guerra

Mayra Guerra, MBA, RTSBA, is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as a Capital Projects Accountant at Klein Independent School District since March 2022. Previously, Mayra held the role of Senior Accountant-Special Revenue and Capital Projects Accountant at Klein ISD from May 2017 to June 2021. Notable earlier positions include Accountant at Paulding County School District, Grant Accountant at Cobb County School District, and Staff Accountant at Pflugerville ISD. Mayra began their career as an Auditor at the Texas Education Agency and as a Staff Accountant at Sharyland ISD. Mayra holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas-Pan American and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the same institution.
