Kevin Ekdahl

Kevin Ekdahl has over 30 years of work experience in engineering and management roles. Kevin started their career at Steelcase as a Test Engineer in 1990 before advancing to roles such as Resident Product Engineer and Senior Manufacturing Engineer. In 1997, they joined Klein Tools as a Senior Product Development Engineer and worked their way up to roles like Corporate Engineering Project Manager, Manager of Product Design, Testing, and Packaging, and Director of Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their roles at Klein Tools and Steelcase, they also served as an Advisory Board Member at Northwestern University for the Segal Design Institute MaDE program. Throughout their career, Kevin has been responsible for new product development, strategic planning, resource allocation, and project management.

Kevin Ekdahl completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Technological University from 1985 to 1990. Kevin later pursued a Master of Science in Engineering Management at Northwestern University from 2006 to 2010.
