Athena Ruland

Athena Ruland is a seasoned marketing specialist currently employed at Kleiner Perkins since May 2019. Prior to this role, Athena served as an Executive Assistant to the CFO and the investment team at VMG Partners from April 2016 to March 2018. Athena's career in finance includes experience in institutional equities sales at J.P. Morgan from June 2012 to April 2016 and as a sales assistant at Deutsche Bank from August 2011 to June 2012. Athena began the professional journey as the Lead Health Benefit Analyst for the County of San Mateo, holding that position from October 2005 to November 2010. Athena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with a focus on Marketing from Menlo College.
