Naomi Cheng

Naomi Cheng, CPA, currently serves as the Head of Fund Finance and Senior Controller at Kleiner Perkins, having assumed this role in February 2024. Prior to this, Naomi was the Senior Director of Accounting and Controller at Norwest Venture Partners from June 2018 to February 2024, where responsibilities included leading the finance team, managing compliance with GAAP and SEC guidelines, and overseeing financial reporting and forecasting. Naomi has extensive experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting, having held various positions at prominent companies such as Netflix and Salesforce, where notable contributions included training on new accounting standards, managing SEC reporting processes, and collaborating with executive teams. Previous roles at Deloitte involved auditing, particularly within the energy and utilities sector, and led to recognition as a brand ambassador at the 2012 London Paralympics. Naomi holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
