Chris Shipp

Chris Shipp has extensive experience in the field of construction inspection, particularly in structural steel, welding, high strength bolting, and non-destructive testing (NDT). Currently serving as a Construction Inspector at Kleinfelder since August 2002, Chris is responsible for ensuring project quality requirements by monitoring contractors' quality control programs and maintaining effective communication regarding project challenges and improvements. With over 30 years of experience in the welding and NDT sectors across various industries including nuclear, aerospace, and medical, Chris provides invaluable insights and maintains a professional working relationship with clients. Previous roles include Specialist at Environmental from 2002 to 2013 and Welding Team Leader and Nuclear Coordinator at Carpenter Technology Corporation’s Special Products Division from April 1979 to August 2002. Chris's educational background includes attendance at Granite Hills High School, Grossmont-Cuyamaca College, and San Diego State University from 1977 to 2005.
