Kim is a Principal Consultant that has been with Kleinschmidt for 3 years. Kim has specialized in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and environmental permitting for 20+ years. She facilitates completion of large complex environmental permitting and NEPA compliance projects, particularly with a focus on renewables, including offshore wind. Kim also provides NEPA training classes that are customized for specific clients.

Some of Kim’s most recent projects she has worked on include: Rehabilitation and/or replacement evaluation for Lake Conestee Dam in South Carolina; Dam decommissioning for the Lower Klamath Hydroelectric Project in Oregon and California; Third-Party Impact Statement for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, National Environment Policy Act Compliance and Environmental Permitting for Duke Energy; NEPA documentation and analysis construction actions for the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Kim has a Master of Science in Biology/Coastal Zone Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science. She is an active member of the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), the Business Network for Offshore Wind, and the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP).
