Rossie Corwon

Senior Consultant at Kleinschmidt Associates

Rossie is a senior consultant out of the Lexington office experienced in lake and shoreline management, and dam operation and maintenance from her tenure as a City/County Engineer for Greenwood County SC. Her experience encompasses fisheries habitat protection, FERC reporting, to ordinance development for shoreline stormwater management. Other experience includes working for a major developer managing site permits, as an environmental engineer for International Paper Company, as operations manager for a Commission of Public Works (water, sewer, and natural gas), and as a project engineer for a textile company with dyeing and finishing plants.

She currently serves as President of the Board of the Upper Savannah Land Trust, which holds protective easements on 50,000 acres in the Piedmont region of SC. She has served on the board since 2014, and as President for the past 4 years. Additionally, she has been active in the Emerald Circle for the Girls Scouts in Greenwood County, was a charter member of the philanthropic Greenwood Women Cares organization, currently serving on the Grants Committee, and is a board member for the Humane Society of Greenwood.

Rossie has a BS degree in Agricultural Engineering from Clemson University, is licensed as a Professional Engineer in SC, and obtained a MBA from Texas A&M.
