Heino Meerkatt

Heino Meerkatt has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Heino started their career at VARTA, where they served as the Global Head of Controlling from 1985 to 1989. In 1991, they joined Ermgassen & Co as an M&A Business Analyst for a brief period. That same year, they joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and held various positions, including Senior Partner & Managing Director from 1991 to 2015. In 2016, they transitioned to a part-time role at BCG as a Senior Advisor supporting the Social Impact Practice.

In 2017, Heino Meerkatt took on multiple roles at different organizations. Heino became a Senior Advisor at Value for Good GmbH and a Member of the Technical Advisory Board at Surgo Ventures. Heino also joined share and held several positions, including Head of Social from 2019 to 2021 and Head of Finance from 2020 to 2021. In the same year, they joined Kumi Health GmbH as a Senior Strategist & Finance, and later became the CFO in 2022.

Looking ahead, Heino Meerkatt is set to become the CFO at Klim in 2023. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in finance, strategy, and advisory roles across a wide range of industries and organizations.

Heino Meerkatt completed their Abitur at Ratsgymnasium Wolfsburg from 1971 to 1980. Heino then pursued an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management, General at The University of Göttingen from 1980 to 1985, obtaining a Diplom-Kaufmann degree. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at The University of Göttingen from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Dr. rer. pol. in Business/Managerial Economics. In 1990, Heino Meerkatt attended INSEAD to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
