💡Leandro Favarin

Leandro Favarin has worked in a variety of roles in the mobile engineering and software engineering fields since 2010. 💡Leandro began their career at Phi Innovations as an Embedded Systems Software Engineer, where they participated in the creation and development of a new home screen (launcher) for Android 2.2+. In 2012, they joined Encripta as a Mobile Software Engineer, where they were responsible for all Android-related applications and development, including design, release and maintenance. 💡Leandro also developed and architected iOS applications and created applications for audio and video on-demand with Microsoft's PlayReady and Google's Widevine DRM. In 2015, they became the Lead Android Engineer at Blinkist, where they grew and led the Android team and focused on developing product strategy and Android development roadmap. This work was recognized with a Material Design Award in 2017. In 2017, they joined hibooks as Head of Mobile Engineering, where they led initiatives to achieve engineering excellence and architected and engineered the Android app using Kotlin-Multiplatform. In 2020, they became the Lead Android Engineer at Klima.

Leandro Favarin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas between 2005 and 2011. In February 2015, they became a Certified Widevine Implementation Partner from Google.
